Seaside Optometry is proudly owned by Dr. Bradley Hamar and Dr. Riley Bullert. Together they are committed to providing exceptional care to the central coast community.
Dr. Bradley Hamar, O.D.
Dr. Bradley Hamar is excited to return to the Central Coast. Originally from Visalia, California, he spent much of his early life along the coast before pursuing his education and career in optometry.
Before optometry school, Dr. Hamar played collegiate water polo on scholarship and later coached the sport he loves. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University, where he graduated in 2018, and received the Award of Excellence as the top clinician in his graduating class.
Following graduation, Dr. Hamar practiced alongside leading ophthalmologists in Chico, California, where he gained extensive experience in ocular disease, surgical co-management, and advanced medical eye care. He is passionate about providing thorough, personalized care and helping patients maintain lifelong eye health.
Dr. Hamar and his wife, Dr. Riley Bullert, are proud owners of Seaside Optometry and are thrilled to return to the Central Coast to raise their two children. They are honored to serve the community and provide exceptional eye care for patients and families of all ages.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hamar enjoys spending time at the beach with family, golfing, mountain biking, snowboarding, and being near the water whenever possible.
Dr. Riley Bullert, O.D.
Dr. Riley Bullert is passionate about providing personalized, family-focused eye care and creating a welcoming experience for patients of all ages. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University, where she met her husband, Dr. Bradley Hamar.
Prior to co-founding Seaside Optometry, Dr. Bullert practiced in Chico, California, where she provided comprehensive eye care with a special focus on children, families, and underserved populations through her work in community health. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with patients and helping families feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their eye care decisions.
Dr. Bullert and Dr. Hamar are excited to raise their family on the Central Coast and are honored to care for a community that means so much to them. Together, they are committed to providing exceptional care with compassion, expertise, and a patient-first approach.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bullert enjoys spending time with family, exploring the coast, creating art, CrossFit, and being involved in the local community.
